Don't feel inadequate by being honored with the title small business. In fact if you typically consume between 500,000 kwh and 1,000,000 kwh of electricity annually, you are leaning more towards medium sized energy consumption. 

Regardless, the small to medium sized energy consumers are looked over the most. In many cases you are typically lumped into a generalized aggregation without any thought or consideration to your load factor. Often times the fixed rate you are receiving in these energy tiers does not match what you should qualify for.
